This course explains what the State Plan for Independent Living (SPIL) is, why it matters, and how it guides statewide Independent Living priorities. You’ll learn how the SPIL is developed, used, and evaluated, and how collaboration and public input shape its success.

Course Details:

  • This is a self-paced, 45-60 minute course.
  • Great for newcomers to the Independent Living network.
  • Each lesson includes one core takeaway and some include interactive activities and/or reflection questions.
  • A 10-question assessment at the conclusion of the course.
    • Must pass with 80% to receive a certificate of completion from the IL T&TA Center.
