Delivering Independent Living Services

Independent Living services are rooted in the belief that people with disabilities are the experts in their own lives. This course introduces the core Independent Living services and values that guide Centers for Independent Living (CILs) in supporting consumer choice, self-determination, and community inclusion.

Course Details:

  • This is a self-paced, 45-60 minute course
  • Great for newcomers to the Independent Living network
  • A 10-question assessment at the conclusion of the course
    • Must pass with 80% to receive a certificate of completion from the IL T&TA Center
